Simple Large Fall Tag

Good morning.
Cyn here and I am back with another tag.

Have I said I love tags? Yes I think I did in my last post.
But it is true.

You can use them in scrabooking, bookmarks, pictures, writing notes!

This tag is really large. I cut it out and put it on black cardstock to make it pop.

I also added a little bottle cap graphic from my last post. So cute!

I added some large jute and coffee stained twine to the top.
Kind of gives it the prim country look.

Fall Tags

Good morning!!
Can anyone feel fall in the air yet???
I know I am so ready for it!

So glad to be back designing for Ewe-N-Me Printables

I think I have shared this before...I LOVE tags!!
and I love love these!

These are so simple to make!
I used thin cardboard  (cereal boxes work great!)
and cut them into a small tag shape.

Inked the edges and gave them stitching lines with a black sharpie.
Attached these cute bottle cap printables!

This one I stamped and will use on a doll.

If you have a business these make such cute tags to attach to your packaging.

This collection comes with Five of the cutest designs!

Hope you have a great weekend!
Until next time...~Cyn

Old Spring Time Cards

Hello fellow bloggers.

Is it just me or is this year flying by? We are almost half way through March.

When deciding on what to make with these graphics, I knew I wanted to make a card that looked like it had been stored in Grandma's old trunk for a few years.

I used a muted gray and muted brown.

I put it on white cardstock so the colors would look old.
I also left lots of "empty" space on the card which was hard for me.
But for the look I wanted
I think it turned out great.

I love these graphics. They are already aged beautifully.

Snowman Christmas Cards

Happy Saturday!

Do you have plans for the weekend?

I decided to get started on my Christmas cards early this year.

I love giving out hand made cards.

These are some very bright colorful cards,
I bet they will make someone happy when I send them.

I used brown kraft cardstock as my base. It gives them a nice country feel.

Isn't he a cute snowman. I love this one with all the reds.

Okay this guy really wanted to be on polka dot paper. So I agreed.

See that old vintage ric rac? I think this snowman is giving me a big hug.

This one I used some vintage plaid ribbon. I think the kitty in the snowman pocket love it.

You can pick up this set and start making your own cards.

Have a great weekend,
Cyn

Tic Tac Toe Snowman Ornament

Hello bloggers. Hope everyone is keeping warm out there.

I am in the ornament making mood I think.

Today I have a tutorial to show you how to make this Tic Tac Snowman Ornament.

So grab you glue, cardboard, twine, distress ink, scrapbook paper, and this collection of bottle caps

You might want to grab cocoa too if it's chilly in your area.

FIRST get a piece of cardboard and cut it to size 4in by 4in square.

THEN you want to cover it with black scrapbook paper.

AFTER you have printed out your bottle caps. cut them out and ink the edges.

Then glue the bottle caps down onto cardboard. This gives them a nice height.

Then take jute and glue it on the 4in by 4in card like this. I used hot glue, you can use whatever glue you like. I love hot glue!

Then start glueing on the snowman bottle caps.

Attach a jute hoop, some sparkly ribbon, and write Merry Christmas and the year with a gel pen.

There you have it.

I remember playing tic tac toe alot growing up. So this was a cute ornament idea for me.

Until next time, stay warm~ Cyn

Thanksgiving Collage

Happy Sunday everyone.

I hope your weekend is going well.

I know alot of bloggers around the country are getting lots of snow.
Stay warm!

Thanksgiving is next week and it is one of the holidays I just love.

All that good yummy food!

I decided to make a wonderful long Thankgiving collage.

I used the collage sheet Thanksgiving Greetings.

It's a great sheet because it gives you a few different sizes when you print.
Which makes it great for layering.

I took some cardboard (good ole cereal boxes) and covered it with scrapbook paper.

Then I cut each of the pictures out of the collage and glued them onto black
card stock to make them pop.

Then I glued those to cardboard. Some of them I glued a few pieces of cardboard to give it height.

This is really a fast and easy project. You could even make this as a center piece for you table.

You can get the Thanksgiving Greetings Collage Here

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Get Well Wishes

Hello bloggers. Hope everyone is doing good.

I know a few people at my office that have not felt well.
I also have a few people in my family that
have been under the weather.

I think when the seasons change we just tend to get sick.

So I decided to make a little Get well Card. I printed out out and didn't do anything to it but ink the edges with some Distress ink. My favorite is vintage photo.

The graphics on this card are just so neat I didn't want to add anything to it.
I can over add sometimes.

The on the inside I made a fall colored tag that says...

most of the time the inside of my cards are blank but this one I wanted to say get well soon.

I you have a stamp sentiment you could use that. I like to just take my black sharpie and hand write it in there myself. No fuss.

If you use the envelope that is printed out with this card you will have to make the tag smaller. So it will fit in the envelope.

I am going to hand deliver this one to a lady's husband at our church so I don't need the envelope.

This card is all old time goodness. Love it.

Sheep Tag Ornies

Good morning! Happy Happy Monday.
I hope that everyone had a good weekend.

I must confess something this morning....shhhh don't tell anyone.
BUT I adore sheep! I also LOVE tags!

So when I seen this sheep tag set I just had to have it,
and I knew exactly what I was going to make with them.

Yep sheep tag ornies.
In my craft room I have a tree up all year. I try and decorate for the seasons.

Right now I have all fall things on the tree so these sheep feel right at home.

I put the sheep tag on some fall colored paper. Then attached a button with some string and hot glued it to the back of the tag to make it dangle.

Have I told you I LOVE hot glue!!

Each tag has a different color button. You could use real wool thread if you would like.
I am allergic so I used good ole cotton thread.

These were so simple to make. You could also hang them from a peg on your prim shelf.

You can find this collection by going here Sepia Sheep

Fall Farmhouse Cards

Good Monday Morning.
How is it in your neck of the woods? Or your city?

I am doing great. Out here in Arizona we are finally cooling off into the 80's and that is fine by me.

I was in need of a few fall cards so I grabbed my fall paper and sat down to craft.

Aren't these graphics adorable!
I grabbed all my orange colored paper and got to cutting!
I decided to do pattern up top and a solid below.
Divided by a pattern the mirrored the top.
I had to ink the edges and add faux stitching.

Now if you get to know me long enough, you will see I have an obsession with tags!
This has really bright colored background and a pretty fall tag.
That is a chipboard heart that I covered with paper and inked it up.
Oh, and don't forget your string for the tag!

I hope you enjoyed these cards. I love these labels because they come in 3 different sizes!
You can click on the link below and it will take you over to grab your own.

On The Go Note Pad

Good morning, hope your Monday is starting out great.

Did everyone have a great weekend? I crafted most of the weekend so for me that is a Yes!

For me, making fall things is in full swing around my house.

I just love the colors.

So I decided to use one of the pretty Cocoa Treat Envelopes and make a mini on the go note pad.

I printed it out on medium weight card stock, cut it out and folded on the lines per the instructions. Then I made a small hole under the word blessings, lined it up on the print out of the pumpkin and threaded a bow through it.

I then took a piece of cardboard from a cereal box and lined it with pretty polka dot scrapbook paper. On top of that I cut little pieces of scratch paper and punched a hole and tied a string.

It slips easily into the cocoa envelope and closes until I need it.

Great little fall gift to keep in your purse. We ladies are always need scratch paper.

Fall Flower Peatpot

Well it is Friday. How is everyone doing?

Any plans for the weekend?

I am going to be working on some fall cards and staying out of the heat. Where I live it is still getting up to 105. Ugh, I know let's bring out the cool weather.

I think this Fall Flower Peatpot would be a great craft to do with the kids.

I think it turned out adorable!

What you will need:
Small peatpot
Fall sunflowers
BBQ Skewers
Peat moss
and a hot glue gun ( careful around the kiddos with this)

I printed out the adorable crow and pumpkin set and cut it to fit the peat pot.
I used hot glue to secure it to the pot.

Then I hot glued the flowers to the BBQ skewers and the tags

Then I hot glued them to the bottom on the peatpot and added moss.

Yep that simple! So cute! This one is going in my down stairs bathroom.

Love Sheep Cards

Good morning. I hope that everything is going great on this September day.

Is everyone ready for fall? I have stated to put a few fall things out and I am loving all the colors.

Decided to do some cards with warm fall colors. And I used these adorable sheep tags. Aren't they cute! One thing that I love to do on my cards it put faux stitching around the edges. It just makes it pop.

I love the solid colors behind the tag on this card. Just reminds me of simpler times.

I think these two sheep are great for a love you card. They are under a heart willow tree.
How perfect!

Fall Kitty Cards

Awe, here it is September first.
Summer is almost behind us and fall is upon us.

I have already started decorating the house with pumpkins and fall things.

I will admit it is my favorite time of year.
Here in the part of Arizona where I live we don't see as many changes as other places. But I enjoy and celebrate it just the same.

Since I love kitties and fall I decided to use the Strip Tags-Fall Cats to make a few cards.

Isn't this card so cute. This paper has a little bit of glitter in it and gives it just the right sparkle.

Cute little orange tabby with his pumpkin and daisies.

Little gray and white kitty saying Fall.

Hope you enjoyed the cards. There is so many things you can do with these tags. When you are headed out to the pumpkin patch snapping all those pics, slip one in a homemade card and send to Grandma. She would love it!

Until Next Time,

Let's get ready for Autumn

Good morning and Happy Thursday to you.
I decided to bring you a tutorial today. I am going to show you how to make this Autumn sign.

I decided to you the most adorable prim hang tags.
You can get them by clicking Here

First get out a piece of thin cardboard. I use an old cereal box.
And cut it to the size you want your sign to be.
Mine is about 15in by 12 in. psst I don't measure I just cut. :)

Then use a glue stick, or double sided tape on one side and place whatever color scrapbook paper you want as your background color.

Press really hard to make it stick.
Next: Take sand paper and sand all the edges. Don't skip this step. This will help prevent any of the paper pulling off the cardboard later on. Trust me..lesson learned.

Next you want to "ink" the edges. This will give it a worn old look.

The one of the LEFT is after sanding. The one on the RIGHT is after inking. See looks good.

Next take your cute little images and print them out and put them on black scrapbooking paper. The black really makes them pop. I also inked the edges before putting onto the black paper.

Oh my goodness do you see how cute this lil guy is.

Ok then line them up anyway you choose and glue them down. Aren't they just adorable!!

Next comes your saying. Get out your alphabet chipboard pieces and start inking them. I used Vintage photo for all my inking. You could also paint these. NO worries if you don't have chipboard.
Use stickers.

Then line your words up and glue them on.
I used hot glue, but you can use whatever glue works for you.
Hot glue a sodapop tab, or a string to the back and you have your autumn sign.

Mine is hanging in my down stairs bathroom. It is autumn year round. :)

If signs aren't your cup of tea, you can make a felt flower like I did. Hot glue it to a stick from the yard, and put one of these tags on it. Hey, what a great gift for a teacher! Kids are heading back to school soon.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I hope yall will take the time to make one.
Oh by the way this tag set is on sale right now for $1.00.

Until next time,
Cyn
