My Last Tea Party For Now....Maybe

I really don't miss seeing snow at all, when it DOES snow I act like a kid because it is so rare but I do not go out to play in it, too cold for me. However, I couldn't resist this cute, "Let It Snow" file of Deena's at Ewe-N-Me-Printables.

I quilled up a few snowmen, I did cheat a bit on their hats, eyes and, "buttons" because I really didn't like the look of the quilled hats, eyes and, "buttons" so I cut some tiny top hats with my Cricut, added blue jewels for the eyes and some Enamel Accents for the, "buttons".

It did snow up on the mountains I can see out of my craft room window but all we got was rain and a bit of hail. The snowflake brads are from my stash, I cut off the prongs on the backs and attached them with some heavy duty glue.

This snowman looks like he had a bit too much Bailey's Irish Cream in his tea.

The snowflakes are from my BFF, Renee from Plum Purdy who I visited over the summer in South Carolina and gave her a hand at a decorative painting convention in Ohio called, "HOOT". I actually really enjoyed having to get up and go to, "work" every day of the convention despite my aching joints.

The teaware is part of my collection, my favorite line of teaware, Queen Anne from England made around 1950.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

It's a Tea Party!!!!!!!!!

Time for more fun with Deena's Tea Bag Envelopes at Ewe-N-Me Printables this time I choose this darling little file.

You get 2 envelopes on each sheet and you can print as many as you need.

I combined Deena's file with some quilling, as you can see I still need a lot of practice with my quilling.

It is so darned cold here in NW Arizona, the first winter we were here was beautiful and really warm but ever since then the winters have been cold and this one is the coldest. It is even cold down in Phoenix.

I used my quilling, "skills" (ha ha) on the little teapot and cup.

I want to spend some time working on my quilling skills, I had gotten to be fairly good at it when I was doing it all the time, it is one of those things that if you don't do any for a while you need to practice.

The cup was a gift from my pen pal/girlfriend Pat who lives in Indiana. On our way West we were able to stop to meet her for lunch. We had a great time and hated to leave but we really didn't have the time to take our time, we wanted to make sure we arrived before our furniture did.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Warm Snowmen Tea Party

It is time for another tea party in Kingman, AZ. If you have never gone to a tea room for afternoon tea I strongly suggest that you give it a try, I always feel so relaxed and totally spoiled after an afternoon of tea, yummies and girl talk.

This time around I used the Warm Snowmen Tea Bag Envelope file.

You get 2 tea bag envelopes per sheet and you can print as many as you want.

I don't have a lot of blue teaware even though blue is my favorite color so I decided to use a little set my son sent me from Japan for the blue snowman and my Christmas teaware for the red snowman.

For my backgrounds I used a set of tea stamps I have in my stash. I also cut out some tiny tea cups.

I didn't do any menus this time, I think that I need a bit of a change and I feel like doing some quilling. I'm hoping to find something nice to quill up that will go with Ewe-N-Me Printables projects.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Penguin Tea Bag Envelopes - It's Another Tea Party

Hi and welcome to my, "Winter Tea Party 1". Santa brought me a bag of my favorite tea, Irish Breakfast Tea, loose leaf tea that has a very BOLD flavor so I decided that it is time for another tea party. Deena has many different printables to choose from and I just love all of the tea bag envelopes.

You get 2 Tea Bag Envelopes on the sheet and you can print as many as you need to. Aren't the penguins adorable?

I DID make some cranberry/pecan scones to go along with my pretty tea cup and pot (the tea pot is from my tea time pal in Michigan, Kare...we had many wonderful teas together). HOWEVER...living at 3,400 feet has a tendency to mess with my baked goods and the poor scones fell flatter than a pancake.

I embossed the card base with my snowflake embossing folder and I used a dotted folder for the off white layer.

I like to include a little menu and sample of one of the teas that I will be serving.

The tea sample goes inside the envelope.

These are very quick and easy to make, all you do is cut out the envelopes, fold on the lines and add a bit of glue or double sided tape and the envelope is finished.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.
