A Gift of Tea

It is Tea Time again, my favorite time of day. I really like this cute Tea Bag Envelope file, the flowers are so sweet.

You can find this file here: Ewe-N-Me Printables. You get 2 Tea Bag Envelopes on a sheet and you can print as many as you need.

I thought this was perfect for giving a gift of tea.

I paired it up with this cute flower tea cup I received as a gift from a very good friend and this sentiment:

After cutting out my Tea Bag Envelope I ran the card base though my Cuttlebug with a cherry blossom folder, then I stamped tea pots onto a piece of pink cardstock and layered them up. I also added a few jewels to the Tea Bag Envelope, put in a tea bag of Irish Breakfast Tea (my favorite) and adhered it with foam pads.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

It's a Tea Party!!!!!!!!!

Time for more fun with Deena's Tea Bag Envelopes at Ewe-N-Me Printables this time I choose this darling little file.

You get 2 envelopes on each sheet and you can print as many as you need.

I combined Deena's file with some quilling, as you can see I still need a lot of practice with my quilling.

It is so darned cold here in NW Arizona, the first winter we were here was beautiful and really warm but ever since then the winters have been cold and this one is the coldest. It is even cold down in Phoenix.

I used my quilling, "skills" (ha ha) on the little teapot and cup.

I want to spend some time working on my quilling skills, I had gotten to be fairly good at it when I was doing it all the time, it is one of those things that if you don't do any for a while you need to practice.

The cup was a gift from my pen pal/girlfriend Pat who lives in Indiana. On our way West we were able to stop to meet her for lunch. We had a great time and hated to leave but we really didn't have the time to take our time, we wanted to make sure we arrived before our furniture did.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Penguin Tea Bag Envelopes - It's Another Tea Party

Hi and welcome to my, "Winter Tea Party 1". Santa brought me a bag of my favorite tea, Irish Breakfast Tea, loose leaf tea that has a very BOLD flavor so I decided that it is time for another tea party. Deena has many different printables to choose from and I just love all of the tea bag envelopes.

You get 2 Tea Bag Envelopes on the sheet and you can print as many as you need to. Aren't the penguins adorable?

I DID make some cranberry/pecan scones to go along with my pretty tea cup and pot (the tea pot is from my tea time pal in Michigan, Kare...we had many wonderful teas together). HOWEVER...living at 3,400 feet has a tendency to mess with my baked goods and the poor scones fell flatter than a pancake.

I embossed the card base with my snowflake embossing folder and I used a dotted folder for the off white layer.

I like to include a little menu and sample of one of the teas that I will be serving.

The tea sample goes inside the envelope.

These are very quick and easy to make, all you do is cut out the envelopes, fold on the lines and add a bit of glue or double sided tape and the envelope is finished.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Christmas Tea Party

Time for another one of my tea parties, Deena's tea envelope printables make invitation making super easy.

You get two tea bags per sheet and you can print as many as you need.

My papers are from Craft Smith, ribbons and sentiment stamp from my stash.

For the inside I printed the party info onto a piece of vellum. I think they look cute with some of my Christmas teaware.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Autumn Bookmarks & Thanksgiving Tea Party

I have two projects again this week. First up are these really cute bookmarks.

You get 1 of each bookmark, a total of 4 and you can print as many as you need.

Deena's files are so easy to work with, you can print, cut and assemble these in about 30 minutes. After printing them out (I went a little out of the lines on the last one) I inked up the edges then I used up some scraps of fall papers to back the bookmarks with (one is mounted on black so you can't see it in the picture). I also punch holes in the tops, add an eyelet and a piece of twine.

These would make nice teacher or hostess gifts.

Now it is time for a Thanksgiving Tea Party, actually more of a Black Friday Tea to give everyone time to take a break and get revived by tea, scones w/lemon curd, tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, tiny deserts and chocolates. I'm going to stay home and make tea while everyone else is out fighting the crowds.

You get 2 tea bags on a page and you can print as many as you need.

For this simple invitation is very easy to make, I used a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" brown cardstock, I cut it in half so that I had two pieces of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". I scored it at 4 1/4", then I added a scrap of dark pumpkin which I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder from my stash. I chomped all 4 corners of both the card base and the pumpkin layer then I added a Thanksgiving Greetings Tea Bag on top, added some sequins and pearls. The sentiment was an extra that I had previously printed on vellum with my printer then layered onto a scrap of Kraft paper and adhered with foam pads.
