After cutting out my hang tags I punched a hole in the top and added some twine then I layered my card bases with some burlap, added some jewels and I was done. Very fast and easy note cards which you can use yourself or give as a gift.

A Gift of Tea

It is Tea Time again, my favorite time of day. I really like this cute Tea Bag Envelope file, the flowers are so sweet.

I thought this was perfect for giving a gift of tea.

 

I paired it up with this cute flower tea cup I received as a gift from a very good friend and this sentiment:



After cutting out my Tea Bag Envelope I ran the card base though my Cuttlebug with a cherry blossom folder, then I stamped tea pots onto a piece of pink cardstock and layered them up. I also added a few jewels to the Tea Bag Envelope, put in a tea bag of Irish Breakfast Tea (my favorite) and adhered it with foam pads.

Bathing Beauties Card in a Box

Summer is in the air here in Arizona, the mercury is over 90 degrees here today. HOT!! It was a good day to play with these bathing beauties:

After I printed and cut my images out, the card was very easy to assemble, I just followed the general instructions for cutting and assembling the card then added Deena's darling images,  a sentiment and some flowers.

 

All of the papers are from my stash as well as all of the flowers.

Cousin Elmer Shaker Card

When I spotted this file it made me giggle so I decided to play with it.

 

You can find this cute little guy here: Ewe-N-Me Printables. You get 1 Seed Packet Envelope per page and you can print up as many as you want to.

 

I used my We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool to create a shaker card. After cutting my card base I cut out Cousin Elmer's picture and sized my shaker sleeve to fit the image. I didn't take any pictures of my work with the Fuse but all I used it for was to seal up the edges of the sleeve.

 

Elmer's image is inside the sleeve along with some seed beads for shake. I also added a ladybug brad to Elmer's hat.

 

The entire sealed shaker sleeve is glued to the front of the card base. I added some jewels and my note card was complete.

Small Folding Pocket Card

Today I have a new card design that has a small pocket to hold bookmarks, gift cards, whatever you can fit into it. I need to thank my pen pal Lana in Montana (I like the way that rhymes) who sent me one of these cute little cards and the directions for the card. I had already chosen this file to work with for the week:

As you can see, I played around with these a bit trying a few different techniques. Note Cards With a Japanese Flair

I have more flowers for you today as well as some Japanese papers my son and his beautiful wife brought me from Japan. I was able to play with this cute file this week which you can find here: Ewe-N-Me Printables

You get 2 different size tags and 3 different designs for a total of 6 tags per sheet and you can print as many as you want to.

I really liked the colors on these tags and I thought that they looked great with some of my Japanese crafting papers. I used the 3 small tags for these cards. I also added a little bit of twine to the fold side and a few jewels and my note cards were finished.

I made a tri-fold card using the 3 large images.

I added some flowers to the inside and you can't tell from the pictures but I also added jewels to the flower centers.

Tri-Fold Card & Tags

April showers bring May flowers making this file perfect to use for anything, "April", "showers" and/or, "butterflies".

 

You get 2 different size tags in 3 different designs for a total of 6 tags and you can print as many as you need. You can find this file here: Ewe-N-Me Printables.

 

The large tags are laid out on the page right next to each other making it a perfect Tri-Fold Card cut.

 

 

 After cutting the large tags out as one piece I scored the dividing lines to form the Tri-Fold then I added some stickles, "rain drops" on the umbrella, sequins to the little butterfly and some Glossy Accents to the rain drops underneath the umbrella. I also added Glossy Accents to the two other sides of the fold.

I added a die cut butterfly, sentiment and butterfly stamp to the inside.

On the small tags I added some Glossy Accents and some twine.

Kindness Matters Note Cards

In an effort to restock my note card supply I have made a few more this week using this file:

I used a couple of different ways to decorate these, I used burlap on a few and a cute spring embossing folder on a few.

 

After adhering some thin chipboard to the images I cut them out, inked the edges, punched a hole in the top of each one and added some twine then a couple of sequins for a little sparkle.

Spring Note Cards

Good morning, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday. I have been playing with these super cute vintage postcards. Being a snail mailer I can always use some cute note cards and this file is perfect:

So, you may wonder, why are there only 3 rust note cards? Well, that was one of those funny, "WHAT did I just do things".......While I was cutting with my wavy blade in my paper trimmer, I managed to do the bottom cut on the fold side.

 

 

I was a bit more careful with my yellow note cards.

 

After doing the wavy edge cut I added ribbon, flowers and leaves plus a few jewels. These make great note cards for you or would make a very nice gift for any occasion and are very fast and easy to make.

Easter Bunnies Collage Sheet - Easter Cards



Easter is right around the corner so I have been busy getting my cards ready to mail. The 4 cards that I have for you today are all from this darling collage sheet: Ewe-N-Me Printables.

 

There are 19 total different images per sheet and you can print as many sheets as you need. This sheet is really nice to use if you want to make all of your cards different. 

 



 

Two bunnies in love, isn't it a sweet image? A little washi tape, a few sequins, a little twine and computer generated sentiment and your card is complete.

I think this is my favorite image from the sheet, I added a doily, washi tape, Imaginisce jewels, sequins and a computer generated sentiment.

 

All of these cards were very fast and easy to make, the film strip style images were perfect for my film strip die.

I was able to use up some scraps on the sentiments and the film strip die cuts.

Easter Card in a Box

Evidently I have been on a bit of a, "card in a box" binge, this is the 3rd one I've made recently. But when I saw this beautiful collage sheet I decided that it was perfect for a card in a box. Aren't these angels beautiful?

After cutting out and choosing my images (I used 3 large images on the bottom of the box and 3 small images on the top of the box)  I went to work on measuring, cutting, scoring and folding my box. I put my images onto the box before I assembled it because it is easier that way.

 

  

I used my Cricut to cut the, "Happy Easter" and the flowers with the Easter 2010 cartridge. I added some jewels to the flower centers and a couple around the upper portion of my card.

Leapin' Leprechauns

After company from out of town for a few days, the flu and now a boo-boo wrist, I am finally able to get a little crafting done. I had already picked this file to work with, it makes a great little St. Patrick's Day gift box for all of the little leprechauns on your list.

 

Isn't this a cute file? You get 1 gift box per page and you can print as many as you need.

 

 

After scoring folding and gluing all I really did was add a couple of sequins and a tiny bit of Glossy  Accents to the, "L's" and the hat buckle.

 

These are really very fast and easy to make.

It's Christmas in February

For some unknown reason I decided to work with a Christmas file this week, maybe because I really like this file.

 

You get 3 large and 2 small images of each saying for a total of 10 images on the page and you can print up as many as you need. These make really cute Christmas cards, I think that using them for a Christmas banner would also be really cute. I decided to make up a few Christmas cards so that I'll be ahead of the game this year.

 

I used 8 1/2" x 11 Kraft paper, getting 2 cards out of each sheet of paper.

You can't see it very well in the pictures but I added some gold Craft Twinkles to the stars before adhering them to the cards. The Craft Twinkles show up a lot better in person and add a bit of sparkle to the cards.



On the inside I used the smaller images...using the other sentiment on the inside...The "Merry Christmas" on the outside, "Merry and Bright" on the inside.

I also chomped my corners and added some pearls to the outside.

Love Pillowbox

Deena has some really CUTE gift boxes, if you need a quickie little Valentine's gift box then check out this adorable little pillow box:

 

These are just about the fastest, easiest little gift boxes to make, just cut, fold and glue.

I added some sparklies to the flower centers, along with a few wood embellishments I painted.

Vintage Cupid Bottle Cap Images

I was able to get 2 projects out of 1 file today. These Vintage Cupids of Deena's over at Ewe-N-Me-Printables are just too cute.

 

I had a small wooden box to work with, I took the hinges and closure off then I put on 2 coats of Gesso followed by 2 coats of Coral.

 

 

 After the paint was dry I used a 1" circle punch to cut out the images and inked my edges. I adhered them to the outside of the box. The heart flower buttons are from my stash, I painted them pink and green and added a pink pearl at the bottom.

I cut out the images for the card with my 1" circle punch, inked the edges then added some pink scalloped circles to their backs. Painted another heart flower and added a piece of twine to the middle and another pearl to the bottom. The sentiment is from my stash of stamps.

The washi tape on the top is from my stash. My Darcie Multi Sized Dots folder is what I used to emboss the card front.

I was a bit too close for this picture.

 



I only had room for 4 images on the outside of the box so I added the 5th image to the inside of the top. After gluing the images to the box I covered it with 2 coats of Mod Podge before I added the heart flower buttons.
