I Love Ewe Valentine's Day Cards

Hi everyone!

Valentine's Day is just a couple of weeks away so I thought I'd feature a couple of cards I created for this occasion. They feature Deena's Small Farmhouse Labels - Sheep Wool and I couldn't resist having some fun with a play on words!!

This downloadable features images in a tan background and a white background and you will receive three images in three different sizes on each page. I used the white background for today's cards.

Farmhouse Labels - Sheep Wool

After printing out the images on white cardstock, I cut out the three larger sized labels. I created three different cards, all using a white card as the base.

I stapled a piece of red burlap to a panel of heavy-weight kraft paper and adorned each with a strip of tan lace trim. I then attached the images to each card -- and love the way they stand out against the red background.

Next I printed out a couple of fun messages including "I love ewe!" and "Will ewe be mine?" -- I just couldn't resist doing so with this sheep theme!! I backed them with a piece of corrugated cardboard.

As a final touch, I punched out several hearts on ivory paper, added some gemstones and glued to each card.

This was such a fun project and I hope you are inspired to create some Valentine's Day cards, too! For more Farmhouse Labels, visit the Ewe-N-Me Printables website here.

Thanks for visiting!

Spooky Halloween Cards

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited to be back and continuing on Deena's design team!!

While it's hard to believe summer is a distant memory, autumn is such a great time of year. Who doesn't love the beautiful colors, cozy fires and comfy sweaters! Of course, you can't forget Halloween -- truly a fun, fun, fun holiday for everyone.

Today I'm featuring a couple of cards I created using Deena's Farmhouse Labels - Skeleton, Blackbird, Night Owl. There are three different images, in three different sizes. And, you will receive two pages with this downloadable -- one with a white background and the other with a tan background.

Farmhouse Labels - Skeleton - Blackbird - Night Owl

The cards I created used the white background.

I started with a panel of dark brown cardstock to which I stapled a piece of burlap. The texture of burlap is so perfect for fall and adds to that rustic look. I then attached the panel to a kraft card.

I then cut out the larger images and glued them to the card, atop the burlap piece. Aren't these images fun? For a final touch, I attached a decorative paper clip to each card. I found these clips at the dollar store and knew they'd come in handy for one of my projects!!

The cards were so easy to make!! Give them a try!

Note Cards

I have a thing for chickens and I would love to have a couple of laying hens, a couple fancy hens and a rooster. Link to file.

You get 3 each of 3 different sizes for a total of 9 labels and you can print as many as you need. I used the 3 small ones, put one on a bit lopsided so I put a middle sized label over the small one.

A while back, you know how it goes you see something interesting you think might work well for some projects then you just can't find the right project so that pack of Kraft paper with designs on it sat for 2 years. Shhhh......don't tell on me.

I can't believe how easy these cards were to make, out of each 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper I got 2 cards. I cut the sheets in half on the long side making the cards 5.5" tall x 4.25" wide when folded. After cutting the labels out I backed them with a piece of black cardstock.

I added a piece of ribbon and a couple of Queen and Co. flowers on two of them, and a button from Melissa Frances on the other one. I also added some Queen and Co. pearls. I've had those for a while too, ever since the 2012 Great Lakes Mega Meet.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Small Farmhouse Labels Home Decor

Today I have a home décor item to share with you made using these very sweet labels: Small Farmhouse Labels

I save my used glass jars, the kind jams and pickles come in. I also save some of my empty yeast and relish bottles, this time I used a jam jar.

I stamped around the outside of the jar using the smallest star in the My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas stamp set, using Blazing Red StazOn ink and let it dry. I glued 2 levels of red pompom trim to the top of the jar then filled the inside of the jar with some iridescent Easter grass (basket filler).

I printed the files on vellum, you get a total of 18 labels, 3 of each in 3 different sizes, 9 on a parchment background, 9 on a white background. The ink takes a long time to dry on vellum, I let mine dry overnight before handling them so that I didn't end smearing ink everywhere.

After the ink on the labels dried, I cut out the 3 smallest of both pages. I adhered them to some light green glitter paper, using my Xyron 3" sticker maker and cutting them out and inking my edges.

I used some kitchen skewers and glue gun and hot glued the sticks to the backs of the designs, when the glue was totally set I turned them over and added a bow to the front of each one. I broke off part of the sticks on some of them for a variety of sizes.

See you next time,

Sue Kracker

Fall Farmhouse Cards

Good Monday Morning.
How is it in your neck of the woods? Or your city?

I am doing great. Out here in Arizona we are finally cooling off into the 80's and that is fine by me.

I was in need of a few fall cards so I grabbed my fall paper and sat down to craft.

Aren't these graphics adorable!
I grabbed all my orange colored paper and got to cutting!
I decided to do pattern up top and a solid below.
Divided by a pattern the mirrored the top.
I had to ink the edges and add faux stitching.

Now if you get to know me long enough, you will see I have an obsession with tags!
This has really bright colored background and a pretty fall tag.
That is a chipboard heart that I covered with paper and inked it up.
Oh, and don't forget your string for the tag!

I hope you enjoyed these cards. I love these labels because they come in 3 different sizes!
You can click on the link below and it will take you over to grab your own.

Until Next time,
~ Cyn

Card Set with Farmhouse Labels

Hi everyone, Beth here!

Today I'm featuring a card set I created using Deena's Farmhouse Labels - Fall Fun. This downloadable comes with three different images in three different sizes. There are two pages -- one with a white background and one with a tan background.

I started with a dark brown base and layered that with an ivory panel I stamped with a canvas image. I did two panels in orange and two in blue. Those colors coordinate so well with the images and gives the set a bit of variety.

The pumpkin patch cards are adorned with chipboard corners that are stamped with a botanical image and distressed with brown ink.

The scarecrow cards are embellished with a chipboard tag that is stamped with "just saying hello" and decorated with a piece of red twine.

These cards have a wonderful rustic feel and I thought a simple kraft box would make a perfect presentation. I used a sunflower label and adhered it to a large gift tag that I also stamped with the canvas background.

Whether for your personal use or presented as a gift, I think this is a lovely card set to have on hand for any occasion this season.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today! Thank you so much for stopping by.

New Printables at Ewe-N-Me

I've finally gotten back into the swing of things and have designed some new printables. With Christmas break for the kids, snow days, bitter cold days, it was difficult finding time to work... kids are hungry little beings and I found myself in the kitchen more than anything during that time. I enjoyed the break but it's good to be back at it again.

I hope to have some more new things added soon.

You can find the new items here... www.ewenmeprintables.com

I've also listed some of the printable checkerboards as One Buck Weekly Sale Items. If you haven't seem them, now's a good time to take a look. The print as an 8x10  and are great for framing or decoupage.  You can find them all here... One Buck Weekly Sale Items

So glad you've stopped by.
