Bottle Cap Magnets & Rosettes

I really enjoy working with Deena's bottle cap images, if I could my 1" circle punch it would be a lot faster but even without the punch these are very fast to cut out and work with.

Click here to view file. You get 5 different designs, there are 6 rows on the sheet for a total of 30 bottle caps and you can print as many as you need.

All you need to do is cut the images out either with a 1" circle punch or by hand. I inked my edges and used some 3D Crystal Lacquer to adhere the images to the inside of the bottle caps. I added more of the 3D Lacquer on top of the images to give them a bit of a shine. On the backside of the bottle caps I attached a magnet with my hot glue gun.

I also made a rosette and attached a magnet to the backside then I made another rosette without a magnet. Rosettes are very versatile there are so many different things you can use them for. They make great gift "bows" as well as banners, cards, scrapbook pages and my favorite use is to make themed pins with them.

All of these projects are very fast and easy to make, they make great last minute gifts, party favors, etc.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Cards and Tags - Victorian Flowers Collage Sheet

Hello again! I love fall and all the earthy colors, but no matter the season I love pretty flowers. For today’s project I’m featuring Deena’s Collage Sheet –Victorian Flowers that I used to create cards and matching gift tags. I like to make cards and matching gift tags because it keeps things coordinated and makes gift wrapping easy!

This collage sheet comes with six gorgeous floral images (two of each in a large and smaller size). It was hard to pick just one or two! After printing out the sheet, I cut out the images I wanted to use – but this time I left some of the white around the border. It really makes these beautiful images stand out!!!

For the card, I started with white cardstock layered with a pink panel and placed the floral image on top. The bottom half features a hand stamped image “live your dreams” in black ink on a white with cream base and adorned with a cute black and white polka-dot button. I attached a piece of white trim to the center of the card that goes so well with the Victorian flower theme!

I created a matching tag – also keeping some of white showing around the border of the flower image. I added a black and white polka-dot ribbon that coordinates with the button on the card!

I like how the polka dots give a modern contrast to the lovely old-fashioned flower images!

I hope you enjoyed today's project. I think these cards and tags would be great for a birthday gift or any special occasion!

Thank you for stopping by today!
