Sweet Holiday Wishes Grab-N-Go Cup

Here is a fun holiday gift to give to your favorite coffee, tea or hot cocoa lover.  The PDF prints up so beautifully and you can fill the cup with gift cards, coffee, tea and anything else you can think of.  I wrapped the cup holder around a standard to go coffee cup from the grocery store.  They sell them in larger packs.

I added some glossy accents and some stickles to give the parts of the cup some dimension.  If you are looking for an easy and wonderful teachers holiday gift, then you don't need to look further than these adorable cup holders.  Deena has many others in the store for you to choose from as well.  There are also a lot of new holiday items which she just put into the store so be sure to pop on over and see them all.

Thanksgiving Greetings

Thanksgiving was celebrated recently in Canada, but it's yet to be celebrated in the United States, so I still have time to share some crafty ideas for it. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving where I leave, but we used to do some abundant and fun dinners at the american school where I studied... Good old days!

Today I have a card I made using a cute vintage collage from Ewe-N-Me Printables called Collage Sheet - Thanksgiving 102. I used the image of the girl holding a mirror for the turkey that simply blew my mind... How adorable and vintage is that image!

I made a card with lots and lots of layers and though this is a Fall card the color palette is very different. I picked the colors on the image for my card's color combination. I framed the image and made it the focal point of the card. I added a rosette, embellished with Fall leaves I die cut, colored with pigment and distress inks, and with Inkagold in yellow gold, to give them a nice shimmer. Other elements added were a die cut doily folded in half, gold cording and some crystals.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card and if you need to make some cards I highly suggest you visit Ewe-N-Me Printables' store, because they have lots and lots of beautiful files for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fall is Here Treat Box

It's fall here in New England and what better time than now to create a little treat box filled with chocolate and popcorn.  Perfect for a movie night snuggled on the couch.  I printed the candy bar label on glossy paper to give it a lovely look.  The image printed up so perfectly and the label looks so cute on the box.  It pulls the whole project together.

Popcorn Wrapper - Fall Is Here

I used my Silhouette Cameo to die cut the box, the pumpkin and the leaves to make a holder for my goodies.  I was trying to come up with something that looked like the boxes that kids get their popcorn, snack and drink in at the movies.  The popcorn is actually a caramel one which also fits nicely with the season.

I am really enjoying playing with the Ewe-N-Me Printables and really hope that you have a moment to check out the store.  There are so many ways to use them and I know you will love them.

Fun and Games Checker Board

I am so excited to share my first design team post for Ewe-N-Me Printables.  I love these printables and they are so easy to use and print up gorgeously in your printer.  I love salt box homes and thought this would be a really fun set to make.  I bought a plain wooden tray from Joann's and painted it with Martha Stewart's Chipotle color paint.  It matched the red salt box homes perfectly.  I printed out both image sheets on cardstock and then adhered black cardstock to the tray with Modge Podge.  Once that was dry I adhered the game board over the cardstock and Modge Podged the whole tray and board piece.
I wanted to make the game pieces fit on the green squares like a real checkers board so used a round die to cut out the houses.  I inked half of the houses red and half black on the edge to denote the different players pieces.  I used red and black cardstock to punch matching circles to back the game pieces and popped them up so you can move them around easily.
Lastly, I printed Fun and Games with my Silhouette and put it on the outer long edge and tied some twine around the handle.  You can shop for these items in the Ewe-N-Me store and also with the links below.

Delicate Note Card

Hello, it's Gracie here. Have you been to the store lately? Lots of new designs have been added and of course I have to share some with you today.

Deena Davis, owner and designer of Ewe-N-Me Printables, and I collaborated to create a beautiful set: Gift Box and Tea Envelopes - Vintage Roses, that matches my latest paper pack release: Keys & Roses

This set includes two different templates, a cube box and tea bags that fit perfectly inside. The box of course, is so versatile that it can be used for many other projects besides a tea box. You can also find both templates sold separately: Printable Gift Box - Vintage Roses and Tea Bag Envelope - Vintage Roses.

I have a very special project I made using this set, but you'll have to wait to see it. So stay tuned and come back on the last week of August to see what I created. This project will also be featured at the Craft Hoarders Anonymous' blog (yay!).

Other beautiful new products available now at Ewe-N-Me Printables are Cocoa/Treat Envelope - Victorian Floral and Small Note Card and Envelope with Hang Tags - Victorian Floral. Today I will be using both sets to make a delicate note card with a matching envelope.

These digital designs are so well made and so detailed, all you need to do is cut. They already come distressed for you and as you can see they even have some little borders, which makes it easy to use for making cards or gift envelopes.

For today's project I started off by printing the templates on white linen cardstock. I printed two note cards from Small Note Card and Envelope with Hang Tags - Victorian Floral. I used the second print to die cut an oval and do a simple decoupage layer on the front of the card. I added a piece of gross grain ribbon in soft pink across the front of the card (horizontally) beneath the die cut and the card base and embellished it's corners with Baby Pearls - LeCreme. I also added a little glitter glue to the center of the large flowers on the oval die cut that gives them a very nice subtle shimmer.

For the matching envelope I printed Cocoa/Treat Envelope - Victorian Floral, that was actually made to match the note card (it fits perfectly).

I hope you liked today's post! If you'd like to purchase the printables I used to make my project, please visit the store or click on the links listed above.
