It's time to start the weekend and a new month! I'm glad to say good-bye to February and winter. And, I'm looking forward to March and the return of spring and all it's beauty. Today I'm featuring bookmarks I made with Deena's Printable Bookmarks - Bring Flowers.
This downloadable is just gorgeous -- with the beautiful flowers and vintage sheet music background. There are four different images on a sheet and I printed out two sheets so that I could use the same image on the front and back of my bookmarks. All you have to do is print and cut -- so easy!
I punched a hole at the top of the bookmark so I could thread a piece of white lace trim through it. Unfortunately, doing so covers up the words "Bring Flowers" but the lace trim goes so well with the vintage look of these bookmarks.
I hand-stamped "just a note" on a scrap of white cardstock and attached that and a bit of black and white gingham ribbon to the bookmark. As a finishing touch, I added two clear beads -- I think they look like dewdrops that you'd find on a flower after a gentle rain shower.

Have a great weekend everyone -- and as always, thanks for visiting.
