Embellished Easter Tags

Hello Friends,
Happy April Fool's Day. As my hubby always says... "There's no fool like an April Fool". haha

Today I'm sharing some tags that I made with two different printables from Ewe-N-Me.

I used brown kraft cardstock for the main background then layered it with the Hang Tags - Postcard Backs printable for the background and embellished with a few things including a banner, round scalloped punch, a rosette, twine and the Bottle Cap Images - Spring Bunnies printable. I added and eyelet at the top too.

The banner that says Happy Easter was simply printed on brown kraft cardstock, trimmed into a long strip and I cut a V shape on the ends. I folded the banner on two places (on each end) about 3/8 inch apart, doing this gave me the option to add dimension and make it pop up. Leaving it flat would have been just fine too.

I punched out a scalloped circle, inked the edges, added the paper rosette and then the bottlecap image.

If you've never made rosettes from paper I think you'll find them a lot of fun to make. I've been making a lot of them lately, they go together quickly and only require a small strip of paper. If you're unsure how to make them, do a quick youtube search and you'll find a lot of great tutorials.

Don't forget that selected Easter Printables are on sale now thru April 5, 2015, you can find the sale items here.

Happy Easter!
