Easter Cards

Easter is right around the corner and Deena has several Easter Printables to choose from. I really like this collage sheet featuring vintage Easter images.

You get 5 total images, two 4" squares and three 3" egg shapes.

I made two different card designs:

For my first card I used Kraft paper for the card base and added a pink background with an Easter ribbon, a few Imaginisce jewels and I was finished with card 1.

For the second card I added a border stamp from Close to My Heart, sentiment stamp from my stash and a few sequins along with the background paper and ribbon.

The third card is an accordion fold, I used the 3 egg shaped images after starting with a cream card base that I added a touch of color to with my eBrush. I used some scraps to make the layer under the images and I embossed them with my eBosser and Swirltangle folder.

The butterflies are some brads from my stash that I cut the backs off of and glued them to the card. I also used a couple of decorative buttons and a bow made with a Couture die set which I won from Create and Craft TV, a few sequins and sentiment which is printed on vellum. I inked all of the edges.

Deena's Printable files are so easy to use, just print cut and design, they make the, "work" go very fast so you still have plenty of time to get a few cards made and mailed.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Retro Easter Cards

This week I had the pleasure to work with this darling Easter Cutout Printable.

You get 8 different images on the sheet. I decided that some accordion cards would be a great way to use them.

These are quick and easy to make and it didn't take very long to make them.

Both of the cards measure 4" tall x 12" across, I scored them every 3 inches giving me 4 folds to work with.

After printing out the file, I adhered the entire sheet to a piece of very thin chipboard then cut out each image and inked the edges.

The printed layers behind the images all measure 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide except for the first and last panels on the second card, those are 3 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide.

On the first card I added a sequin topped by a pearl on each corner and a Melissa Frances wooden butterfly sprayed with my eBrush. The second card has a jewel in each corner and a purple butterfly that I added a few pearls to.

I eBrushed some white cardstock with pink and purple Spectrum Noir markers for the second card.

You can tie them closed with just about anything, ribbon, twine, etc. I used some fluffy string that I have had for several years.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Something New

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to take a minute or two to show you the new printables I have at www.ewenmeprintables.com These are a brand new design and come in JPG format rather than my usual PDF.

French Country Prints...

There are several different designs listed on my website.

Many more designs to come...

When you purchase this file you'll receive two jpg images sized at 11" wide by 8.5" high. They are instant download files in a .zip file.  They're super easy to download an print and since they're a jpg file, you can re-size them.

I think they'd make lovely pillows... don't you? They could be ironed onto fabric with transfer paper, or could be printed directly on fabric.

If you prefer a pdf file... just ask and I can send them to you in that format. It's not a problem. You can find them all by CLICKING HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!
