Hello. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving is fast approaching.
One thing that I am always geared up for is the office Thanksgiving potluck.
In our room where I work there are only 6 of us women and we always have a good time!
Each one of us brings a dish to share and we
are always wanting to know "How did you make this?"
So I decided to make an apron that will stand by the dish and have the recipe in the cute little pocket.
You can search the internet for an apron pattern. I cut it out of think cardboard. Again I used a cereal box here to make it sturdy. Then covered it with scrapbook paper.
The little pocket is also cardboard covered in paper. I then hot glued a yo-yo and a Thanksgiving sentiment on it. Punched holes in it for the ribbon.
For the stand i cut a long piece of cardboard and hot glued it to the back of the apron.
Can I say I Love hot glue!!
This is the actual dish I will be taking. Its an old recipe that my family Loves. My great grandma use to make these and they are yummy!
I will fill the apron with 5 cards for everyone to take home.
Whether it is an office party, or your own Thanksgiving the recipe cards are so nice to have on hand and give out to those who want one.
I used the #141024 Cornucopia recipe cards for this. Ewe-N-Me Printables has many to choose.
Until next time, have a great week.
