The
wonderful thing about downloadable collage sheets is that there are endless
possibilities. Today I’m featuring Ewe-N-Me Printables Collage Sheet - PostcardBacks. What fun these were!
I’m so
fond of vintage, especially when it comes to anything paper related, so these postcard
backs really caught my eye. The downloadable image comes with 6 different images, in two different sizes for a total of 12 printable images. The sizes are 1.5" x 2.5" and 2" x 3.5".
Today
I’m using all six images, but in different sizes to create two vintage style
cards. I downloaded and printed the images and cut out 4 larger and 2 smaller
sizes.
I
started with two natural colored cards, one horizontal and one vertical. I glued
a panel of red textured cardstock to both and left a sizeable margin on each so
the red would stand out. This red paper really pops against the natural stone
color. I then adhered two strips of ribbon – a dark brown and a red gingham to
each card.
These
images are great because the edges have that inked look. I arranged them in a
stacked, overlapping style which gives the card a collage feel. I finished the
cards by adding a red, shabby chic flower and two pearl beads.
Wouldn’t
this be a fun card send to a friend or family member who loves vintage?
